As SchoolMint grew, the build-out of our headquarters presented an opportunity to extend the brand beyond screens and into a real, lived environment. The goal was not to decorate the space, but to create an experience that reflected who we are, how we work, and what we believe.
In partnership with the executive team, an architecture firm, and external production vendors, I led the integration of SchoolMint’s brand system throughout the office — from first entry to shared spaces and exterior presence.
The Challenge
The office build needed to feel intentional and unmistakably SchoolMint. Rather than relying on neutral finishes or simple paint applications, we wanted the space to communicate our brand values, reinforce culture, and create a consistent experience for employees, candidates, and visitors.
The challenge was translating a flexible digital brand system into large-scale physical applications while working within architectural constraints, production realities, and a defined budget.
Brand Foundations to Spatial Identity
From Concept to Reality
1. Brand Translation
We began by identifying how SchoolMint’s brand system could translate from digital touchpoints into physical space. Color, shape, and rhythm were used intentionally to create movement and consistency without overwhelming the architecture.
2. Concept to Production
Once a direction was aligned, the focus shifted to execution. I worked through detailed wall elevations, measurements, and production-ready files to ensure the graphics aligned with architectural constraints, material transitions, and installation realities.
3. Branded Environment
Branded graphics were integrated throughout the office to create continuity across shared spaces, corridors, and meeting areas. Each application was designed to scale appropriately to its environment while reinforcing a consistent brand presence throughout the space.
4. Culture & Presence
Beyond visual identity, the space reinforces SchoolMint’s culture and values. Framed value statements were integrated into high-traffic areas, while exterior branding extends the experience beyond the interior and establishes a clear presence before entering the building.
Impact
Brand Experienced, Not Just Seen
This project transformed the SchoolMint brand from something primarily experienced on screens into something people interact with every day. By translating our brand system into physical space, the office became an extension of our identity — reinforcing who we are, how we work, and what we value.
The result is an environment that supports culture, aligns teams, and creates a consistent experience for employees, candidates, and visitors alike.
